The headline is a search field

Your headline is indexed and appears everywhere your name appears. "Engineer at Company X" wastes it. A working structure is [target role] | [two or three core skills] | [industry or platform].

Example: "Commissioning & Instrumentation Engineer | Loop Checking, FAT/SAT, DCS & PLC | Oil & Gas".

This single change usually produces the largest increase in profile views, because it inserts your real search vocabulary into the field recruiters query most.

Key points

Headline = target role + core skills + industry; it is indexed and shown everywhere; avoid "Engineer at Company X".
