From the incoming supply to the machine
An industrial electrical system is read from source to load. Start at the incoming supply, then follow transformers, switchboards, feeders, motor control centres and the final machine. A single-line diagram simplifies three-phase equipment into one readable path and shows ratings, protection and isolation points.
Before opening a panel, identify every energy source, apply the approved lockout/tagout procedure and prove absence of voltage with a verified tester. Personal protective equipment supports the procedure; it never replaces isolation. This course teaches diagnostic structure, not live work beyond your authorisation.
Read source to load; use the single-line diagram as the map; isolate, lock, tag and prove dead before contact; work only within authorisation.
